Computer Repair Technician
Perform skilled work in the repair and/or routine maintenance of desktop computers, notebooks, tablets, laptops, Chromebooks, and other mobile devices; inspect, test, troubleshoot, and diagnose malfunctions; repair and/or replace faulty components; assist staff in the proper use and maintenance of equipment. The incumbents in this classification assist in ensuring available, reliable technologies and connectivity that support both educational and school business processes, thereby directly and indirectly supporting student learning.Requirements / Qualifications
You’re an excellent candidate for our Computer Repair Technician position, if you have a passion for technology and customer service, are energized by working in a fast-paced, deadline driven work environment, enjoy working in a team, and you possess the following qualifications and competencies:
- One year experience in the maintenance and repair of desktop computers.
- Completion of trade school program or college-level coursework in electronics
- Valid A+ certification at the time of hire or within the six-month probationary period.
- Current knowledge of changing technology
- Aptitude for working with repair tools and equipment
- Problem-solving skills
