Fractional Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Cincinnati, OH Comp: $90,000-$120,000 (based on experience) Full-Time (work as Fractional CFO for multiple client companies)

We specialize in supporting lower mid-market businesses, usually with under $50M in ARR to “Build to Sell”, whether that means preparing for a future sale, planning a leadership transition, or building a strong, sustainable company. We offer a full suite of financial services: CFO, FP&A, Controller, and Accounting, always delivered with purpose, excellence, and integrity.

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as a trusted financial consultant (fractional CFO) to multiple client companies
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
  • Develop KPIs and dashboards for financial visibility
  • Improve financial systems and processes
  • Help clients plan strategically, including for exits or transitions
  • Build financial reports and models
  • Manage bookkeeping, A/P, A/R, and month-end close
  • Support M&A deals: structure, diligence, and integration

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years in a CFO, VP of Finance, FP&A, or similar role
  • Strong background in either corporate finance, private equity, or investment banking
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field
  • Deep understanding of GAAP and financial best practices
  • Experience with growing or transitioning companies
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills
  • Comfortable in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • M&A and financial modeling experience
  • CPA or CFA is a plus, but not required
  • Willingness to travel (up to 20%-30%)
