QC Receiving Technician
POSITION PURPOSE AND SCOPE: This position is for a Quality Control Receiving Tech who will work mainly with incoming materials, raw material sampling, component inspections (AQLS).
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Inspect incoming materials
- Pull samples of raw materials for testing
- Organize and maintain retain samples
- Maintain records of incoming materials
- Release raw materials, components, incoming finished goods
- Maintain accurate records (both physically and systematically) of raw materials and components in the quarantines areas
- Quarantine expired goods
- Receives goods into our ERP system meticulously and with extreme precision
- Ensures that all necessary documentation is accounted for before the trucks are unloaded
- Makes sure all receiving documentation is filed and organized correctly
- Ensures that all product gets stickered correctly upon receiving and release
- Completes tasks within Oracle, regularly performing receiving transactions, sub-inventory transfers
- Plant inspections
- Must have good attendance
- Must be able to work the scheduled shift
- Forklift Certified.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- A High School diploma with adequate experience in quality within a manufacturing, nutritional or pharmaceutical
- Familiarity with GMP’s
- Good record keeping skills, and attention to detail
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Good communication and organizational skills are needed.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The employee may be required to lift and/or move up to 50lbs on a regular basis.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: Mainly manufacturing environment which may include standing, sitting, bending, twisting, walking, climbing stairs, strong odors, lifting up to 50 lbs., confined spaces, warm and cold temperatures, wet/slippery and slick surfaces. Overtime will be required based on manufacturing hours.
