Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Marina Manager to oversee daily operations and deliver top-notch customer service . This on-site role, based in the Venice/Port Charlotte/Boca Grande, on Florida’s Gulf Coast, includes managing staff, supervising dock operations, overseeing slip rental lease and occupancy objectives, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations, coordinating with vendors, and maintaining facility, forklift and equipment upkeep. The Marina Manager will also develop and implement strategies to optimize operations, support tenant needs, and foster a positive marina community while ensuring financial efficiency.
Qualifications
- Experience in marina operations, facility management, and staff supervision
- Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in administrative tasks, scheduling, budget management and occupancy management
- Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing operational challenges
- Familiarity with marina software systems and technology is a plus
- Relevant certifications in marina management or boating safety are an advantage
