Requirements


Must have:

– Bachelors Degree in an engineering discipline or 13 years of relevant experience – Eligibility to obtain a Secret US Security clearance (Post-Start) – Minimum of 5 years in Software Engineering – At least 3 years of experience with C – 2 years of experience with autonomy and/or robotics software techniques – 2 years of real-time software development experience – 3 years of experience in Agile Software development practices

Responsibilities:


  • Design, develop, test, and maintain non-embedded software throughout its lifecycle, adhering to industry, customer, safety, and regulatory standards – Analyze and translate customer requirements into initial software product designs – Mentor junior engineers during software development – Develop use cases for software requirements – Conduct software architecture trade studies and implement changes to satisfy new requirements – Create interface definitions – Execute unit and integration testing – Engage in peer reviews – Assist with system and flight testing – Produce software documentation
