Seeking a Platform Integration Engineer to design, implement, and support an enterprise platform, ensuring high-quality data integration, governance & system performance. Requires technical expertise in Oracle & SQL databases & Linux-based automation.

Duration: contract/through 6-30-26

Work location: Columbus (hybrid-onsite 3 days a week)

Duties:

  • Design and build integration pipelines to consolidate data and processes across multiple systems (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.).

  • Re-platform and modernize existing workloads for a scalable enterprise environment.

  • Implement reusable frameworks for full, incremental, and CDC automation.

  • Build and maintain layered environments (staging, refined, curated) to ensure system reliability and consistency.

  • Create and maintain cross-system data integrations for unified information access.

  • Apply validation rules, quality checks, and access controls to ensure reliable data.

  • Support metadata management, including dictionaries, glossaries, and lineage documentation.

  • Enforce data retention and lifecycle management policies.

  • Manage and configure Linux server environments for platform operations.

  • Develop, schedule, and maintain cron jobs and Python/SQL scripts for automated tasks.

  • Monitor and troubleshoot system processes, logs, and file transfers.

  • Provide DevOps support, including version control, rollback, and deployment automation.

  • Optimize performance across system integrations, queries, and workflows.

Experience:

  • At least 5yrs of exp. in platform engineering, systems integration, or enterprise technology.

  • Strong hands-on exp. with Oracle Database (19c), including PL/SQL & performance optimization.

  • Proficiency with system integration & ETL/ELT frameworks (e.g., SSIS, Oracle Data Integrator).

  • Working knowledge of data governance, including validation, access controls & metadata management.

  • Proficiency with Linux server environments, cron jobs & scripting in Python & SQL.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Working knowledge of data warehousing & data modeling concepts.

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Required:

  • Exp with platform engineering, system integration, or enterprise technology environments-5yrs.

  • Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Database (19c) including PL/SQL and performance optimization-5yrs.

  • Proficiency in system integration and ETL/ELT frameworks such as SSIS, Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), or equivalet-4yrs

  • Proficiency with Linux server environments-3yrs

  • Working exp. writing cron jobs-5yrs

  • Working exp. with Python scripting-5yrs

  • Working exp. with SQL scripting-5yrs

  • Exp. troubleshooting Linux-based file transfers & system processes-5yrs

  • Exp in a public sector or healthcare IT environment is a plus.
