Testing Center Coordinator
Seeks to hire a Testing Center Coordinator to work closely with the Registrar’s Office and other affiliated offices to oversee and implement exam accommodations for qualified students with registered testing accommodations. Testing Center Coordinator supports the day-to-day operations of the testing center including receptionist duties, communication, space assignment, exam scheduling, exam packet preparation, and ordering supplies.Main Responsibilities:
- Serve visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately.
- Coordinate the scheduling and administration of exams given through the Testing Center, including gathering and organizing exam materials and instructions from faculty, scheduling with students and proctors, coordinating equipment maintenance and updates with Assistive Technology Center, reserving space, and overseeing communication about testing services to students and faculty.
- Understand and maintain testing policies and procedures for each test offered.
- Communicate with students and faculty to resolve scheduling conflicts.
- Provide support for Testing Center exam management system to faculty and students.
- Assign exams to spaces for students to take exams and utilize resource allocation.
- Perform administrative duties including answering phone calls, distributing mail, organizing exam folders, and other related tasks.
- Organize completed exams and coordinate exams pickups with faculty.
- Directly proctor exams when needed.
- Maintain office supply inventory.
Additional Duties:
- Monitor test rooms during the administration of exams.
- Clarify accommodations questions and concerns during exams.
- Collect, check, and count completed exams.
- Perform other duties as required.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduation from high school or its equivalent.
- One year of academic experience.
- One year of administrative experience.
- One year of customer service experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of:
- General academic policies and procedures
- Basic features of computer equipment and applications
- Customer service techniques for public contact in person and on the telephone
- Basic recordkeeping and administrative procedures
- Documents filing systems

- Ability to learn general and specialized software applications

- Circulate the Testing Center spaces and navigate multiple buildings across campus for prolonged periods of time

- Ability to work extended hours during busy periods
