Director, Project Finance
The client is a private equity backed utility scale developer led by a leadership team who’s collectively developed 10GW of projects. They have a robust pipeline of operational projects with more projects coming online.
They’re seeking a highly motivated and intellectually curious Director of Project Finance to join their Finance team. This role primarily focuses on the analysis and execution of project finance transactions, including debt and tax equity.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive financial analyses, conduct due diligence, and create presentations to support investment decisions.
- Provide analytical and execution support for debt and tax equity transactions
- Assist in managing relationships with external partners, such as debt and tax equity providers.
- Help prepare investment memoranda for potential acquisitions and divestitures.
- Conduct market research on industry trends, emerging markets, technologies, and relevant federal and state policies.
- Stay agile and adapt to changes in both the company and the evolving renewable energy sector.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience executing renewables project finance transactions
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, or similar field of study
- Strong financial modelling skills
