We are looking for a mission-driven Network Engineer to architect and secure the critical infrastructure that enables Command and Control agencies to protect national interests.
As a key member of this high-impact team, you’ll leverage your expertise in MPLS, VRF, and advanced routing to build resilient networks that outpace evolving global adversaries. From cloud migrations to integrating high-level encryption, your work directly supports the defense of the nation while pushing the boundaries of network modernization.
The Role
- Design and architect enterprise-wide network infrastructure using Multi-protocol Label Switching (MPLS) and Virtual Routing and Forwarding (VRF) to ensure mission-critical availability.
- Optimize client operations through the integration of cryptographic equipment, key management protocols, and advanced security layering.
- Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex network issues across Cisco and Juniper hardware, ensuring seamless system interoperability and transport layer reliability.
- Drive modernization efforts through cloud migration strategies and the deployment of optical infrastructure networking.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor, applying knowledge of Gateway Protocols and industry standards to evolve DoD Command and Control capabilities.
What You’ll Need
- Proven experience with IP networking, including advanced routing, switching, and administration within large-scale enterprise environments.
- Hands-on expertise with industry-leading hardware including Juniper routers, Cisco routers, and Palo Alto firewalls.
- Strong background in network design and deployment within operational or mission-critical environments.
- Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance and readiness to travel up to 25% of the time.
- Bonus points for CCNP, CCIE, JNCIS, or Palo Alto ACE certifications and experience specifically with DoD networks.
