OVERVIEW:
This position exists to differentiate Encore Electric designs and installations through the quality and performance of Audio-Visual or other technology systems leading to highly reliable system operations and customer satisfaction.
Compensation Range for this Role: $80,000 – $100,000 DOE

REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering is preferred or equivalent AV engineering experience.
A minimum of three years’ experience demonstrated in engineering technology systems. CTS-D, CCNA, CCDA, or other industry certifications showing knowledge of systems engineering is preferred.

Specific Responsibilities
-
Take ownership for the overall design and engineering quality of Audio Visual (AV) systems for projects sold and supported by Encore Electric
-
Produce (directly or with the assistance of CAD personnel) detailed, complete and constructible drawing sets suitable for field fabrication and construction
-
Perform all research, calculations, and supporting engineering required
-
Assist with the development, documentation and maintenance of standardized best practices and products used by Encore Electric for the design, installation and testing of AV systems
-
Develop and manage compliance measures to ensure consistency for design and installation
-
Lead on-site process (or direct other technical staff or subcontractors) of performance testing, certification and documentation AV systems
-
Consult and assist for active customer jobs and service calls
-
Participate in meetings, including but not limited to, construction meetings and pre-sales meetings. Lead discussions with owners, contractors, and other stakeholders as to the technical, functional and budget requirements of AV and related technology and proactively and thoroughly document such conversations

Ownership and resolution of high-level technical escalations as the company subject matter expert
-
Provide consultation and assistance for internal Encore Electric projects installing, servicing and updating AV systems
-
Actively participate in Encore Electric safety meetings and training activities. Ensure safety policies and practices are followed in project design and execution
-
Participate in Project Management support activities such as cost forecasting and budget tracking, and other project reviews as required
