Role Description
This is a part-time independent contractor role for a Venture Scout. The Venture Scout will be responsible for identifying and evaluating potential startup investments, building and maintaining a network of industry contacts, and providing detailed reports and recommendations to the investment team. The role involves staying up-to-date with market trends and emerging technologies to identify high-potential opportunities.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in market research and analysis
- Excellent networking and relationship-building abilities
- Keen understanding of startup ecosystems and venture capital
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field (current student is encouraged to apply)
- Experience in or knowledge of various industries and emerging technologies is a plus
