Intern – Application Engineer (AI & Java)

Our Technology team is seeking exceptional college students for our Summer Internship Program, which provides meaningful opportunities for personal and professional growth, as well as rewarding career path options.IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL: Assist in software development using languages such as Java, Python, or C++Gain hands on experience with Generative AI frameworksUnderstand GenAI patterns such as RAG, Vector DatabasesIntegrate GenAI models, including REST APIs, microservices, or cloud-native architecturesPerform in Core Java – this includes understanding object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts such as classes, inheritance, polymorphism, encapsulation, and interfaces, as well as familiarity with Java syntax, data types, exception handling, collections, and secure codingWork closely with senior developers and mentors to research, design, and implement web technologiesUnderstand our users end to end experience, and find ways to enhance itAdhere to all quality standards and proceduresCollaborate with project team members during development processCreate and present a final presentation for management and leadership members at the close of the internship program highlighting the work you accomplished throughout the summerWHAT YOU NEED TO APPLY: Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher preferredAbility to commit to a full time 10-week internship programAbility to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future0-2 years of professional working experienceComputer Science, Computer Engineering, or Software background preferredExperience in HTML, CSS, Javascript, and other front-end technologies is an additional benefit * Experience in prompt engineering

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and MLOps tools (ex: MLflow, Kubeblow) is a plus
