ENERGY SYSTEMS GROUP is looking for a Manager Regional Finance to join our Finance and Accounting team The position can be hybrid at our Corporate Office in Newburgh Indiana or can be remote with occasional travel 10 to 20 including overnight stays The Manager Regional Finance is a critical role that will enhance the collaboration of the operational business units and the corporate Financial Planning and Analysis teams This person will embed themselves in the day to day activities of a subset of Business Units and oversee and improve the forecasting and budgeting process as a first priority They will also become involved in other aspects of the business including but not limited to financial planning cash flow risk and opportunity identification and mitigation and analysis activities of the business units they are responsible for Effective coordination and collaboration across a diversity of businesses and functions are essential aspects of this role To be successful in this role the ideal candidate must have strong technical skills in information technology tools and systems be able to critically analyze large data sets and organizational metrics and be proficient in assessing financial and operational performance The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated finance background in a construction based business This position must be able to prioritize multiple projects and be comfortable communicating with all levels of internal and external stakeholders The essential functions of the position include Oversees monthly forecasting and yearly budgeting process ensuring accurate forecasts and budgets are completed in collaboration with the key business stakeholders within each business unitLeads the timely and accurate consolidation analysis and presentation of monthly projections actual results and financial trends in order to assist the Business Unit Leadership FP&A team and Executive Leadership with developing and delivering the company financial performance goalsInitiates and performs monthly analysis of SG&A costs in collaboration with business unit leadership to support the determination of appropriate actions andor forecast adjustmentsDevelops and maintains financial models and performs financial and operational analyses to support decision makingWorks closely with business units sales and operational leaders to provide financial insights that inform and drive business strategy and performanceMonitors cash flow activities and assists with invoice timing payment collections and coordination of resources to improve cash flowWorks to identify risks and opportunities to achieve monthly and yearly plans and works with business units on mitigation planningActs as the liaison between the Business Units and Corporate FP&A to help identify and implement process and system improvements for increased efficiencies withing financial analysis and reportingYour background includes Bachelors degree in finance or accounting;
