AWS solution architect
Requirements
Must have:
– Hands-on experience with Amazon Connect or other CCaaS platforms in a production or enterprise setting – Proficient understanding of AWS services, especially Lambda – Knowledge of APIs, JSON, and event-driven architectures – Excellent troubleshooting skills and a keen eye for detail – Ability to work in live production settings – Experience designing and managing Amazon Connect environments from end to end (preferred) – Familiarity with AWS services like DynamoDB, API Gateway, S3, Lex, IAM, or Glue (preferred) – Understanding of contact centre concepts such as ACD, IVR, routing, and KPIs (preferred) – Client-facing experience with strong communication skills in explaining technical matters clearly (preferred) – AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Developer Associate, or Solutions Architect Associate (preferred) – Amazon Connect CCP or Partner Accreditation (preferred)
Responsibilities:
- Configure and manage Amazon Connect environments, including contact flows, queues, routing profiles, prompts, and user accounts – Design, maintain, or assist with omni-channel contact flows (voice and chat) – Facilitate AWS integrations utilizing Lambda and associated serverless services – Monitor, diagnose, and resolve Amazon Connect and integration challenges using tools like CloudWatch – Conduct testing and validation of modifications before production rollout – Address production incidents and implement operational adjustments, escalating when necessary – Document configurations, adjustments, and operational procedures – Collaborate with internal teams and clients to convert business needs into technical solutions – For senior-level engineers: serve as a point of escalation, guide junior team members, and contribute to the development of internal best practices
