Financial Controller

Depot Connect International is the leading independent UK service provider for tank transport & depot services We operate over 80 modern tractor units and employ circa 300 people within our network of eight depots Were seeking a Financial Controller to join our team on a 12 month fixed term basis and play a critical role in managing our Finance and Purchasing team This role is based at our Redcar office This is a key position within the company where you will be ensuring compliance accurate financial reporting and strong financial controls Key responsibilities include Leading the finance and purchasing team overseeing all accounting operations including accounts payable receivable payroll and month end processesManaging budgets forecasting and financial planning processesEnsuring compliance with statutory regulatory and tax requirementsProvide financial analysis to support strategic initiatives and business casesWorking with external stakeholders to make sure all external reports are filed on timeAbout you Professional accounting qualification AATCIMAor equivalentProven experience in a Financial Controller or similar senior finance roleExcellent leadership and people management skillsExcellent communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levelsProactive solutions focused and comfortable working in a fast paced environmentHigh level of attention to detail and accuracyStrong analytical skills with proficiency in ExcelAbility to present figures and reportsWhat we offer Competitive salaryCompany pensionFree on site parkingDiscounted gym membershipOpportunity to influence and shape the future of a growing organisationSupportive and collaborative leadership teamBenefits Company pensionFree parkingLife insuranceOn site parkingApplication questions Do you have a professional accounting qualificationExperience People management 3 years preferred
