What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Manage incoming referrals and schedule appointments for a clinical department
• Navigate multiple systems to effectively schedule appointments, tests, and procedures
• Collect and enter relevant demographic and medical information into the electronic health record
• Create and manage referrals within the referral work queue according to organizational guidelines
• Communicate effectively with patients, facilities, and providers through various channels

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred
• Minimum of five years of customer service experience in a multi-tasking environment, such as a call center or physicians’ office
• Call center experience preferred
• Strong keyboarding and computer skills
• Ability to manage difficult situations and maintain positive communication
