Pizzeria Lola is looking for a Support Team member to join our talented team!

Pizzeria Lola is family-friendly, full-service and takeaway restaurant that features craveable pizzas and delicious drinks, and other delights. This critically acclaimed local pizza shop remains a staple of the Minneapolis dining scene and an anchor for the Armatage neighborhood.

Overview:

Support team members are responsible for assisting all front-of-house team members in the

service of guests to create a vision and values aligned experience for everyone. They must be

knowledgeable about the general mechanics of service and the nuances of how service flows, and able to

stay focused and agile in a dynamic, fast-paced restaurant setting.

Reports To: General Manager

Takes Direction From: FOH and BOH leadership team; Manager on Duty or shift supervisor

● Assist Direct Service Employees to produce smooth service – focus on table maintenance

and turns, guest space cleanliness, running food and beverages, keeping necessary service

items stocked, noticing where support is needed and helping out

● Teamwork – engage with teammates and management to meet shared goals and expectations

● Health and Safety – comply with policies that protect the team and environment

Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and walk for long periods, lift and carry items up to 40lbs, and

work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Age Requirement:Must meet the legal age requirement to serve alcohol, where applicable

++Wage Transparency:++

Pay Range for Position: Support (indirect service) positions at Pizzeria Lola vary depending on role. Support roles at Pizzeria Lola include Host, Wait Assist, Host/WA, and To-Go Host. Some Support roles are eligible to opt in to receive additional compensation from the Direct Service Tip Pool. See below for more details.

  • Wait Assist: M inimum wage ($15.97/hour), plus eligible to receive tips if opted into Direct Service Tip Pool, which averages an additional $11-$26/hour.
  • Host: $16-$20/hour. This role is not currently eligible to receive tips from the Direct Service Tip Pool.
  • Host/WA: Host/WAs are paid their individual Host wage (above), plus eligible to receive tips if opted into Direct Service Tip Pool, which averages an additional $5-$11/hour.
  • To-Go Host : Minimum wage ($15.97/hour), plus eligible to receive tips if opted into Direct Service Tip Pool for an additional $40-$70 per shift, dependent on total restaurant sales.
