Discover a career at Depot Connect International DCI a global leader in the TankISO Tank Container Services and Tank Trailer Parts industry Were more than just a service provider; were a unified team combining the expertise of industry leaders Quala Boasso Global and PSC Headquartered in Tampa Florida with over 160 locations worldwide our team of over 3500 employees excels in offering a multitude of mission critical services Key ResponsibilitiesPerform DOT annual inspections and preventative maintenance on chemical tanker trailers Diagnose and repair air brake systems ABS systems and suspension components Inspect and repair tanker barrel integrity baffles weld seams and structural components Service and repair valves manways gaskets vapor recovery systems and discharge systems Perform pressurevacuum testing and leak detection Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems if equipped Conduct aluminum and stainless steel weldingfabrication as needed Maintain proper documentation of inspections and repairs Ensure compliance with DOT FMCSA and hazmat regulations Maintain safe shop practices and follow OSHA guidelines Required Qualifications3 years of heavy duty trailer or tanker mechanic experience preferred Knowledge of DOT tanker requirements and hazmat regulations Experience working on chemical or food grade tankers strongly preferred Welding experience TIGMIG preferred for stainlessaluminum Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in shopoutdoor environments Valid drivers license CDL preferred DCI Benefits Medical dental and vision Insurance401k with generous employer matchPaid time off including 10 paid holidaysOptional health savings account & flexible spending accountLife insuranceEmployee assistance programParental leaveReferral programTuition reimbursement
