Maintenance Technician 2 – PM Shift, Plant 7

We are expanding our Maintenance Department and looking to add experienced technicians to our De Pere team In this role you will perform preventative and reactive maintenance on printing and finishing machines support equipment and components and general building maintenance If youre looking to work with cutting edge technology and machinery while working in a friendly work environment lets talk Hours PM Shift 400pm to 400am 2A12 hour shifts 3 days on 4 days off rotation NOT A SWING SHIFTOccasional overtime as neededPrinciple Duties & Responsibilities Responsible to follow all safety procedures as required by the role and to nurture a food safety culture by adhering to all Safe Quality Foods requirementsPerform regular scheduled Preventive Maintenance on printing and finishing machines support equipment auxiliary components and general building maintenanceRespond to reactiveunscheduled requests of production equipment focusing on minimizing down time by diagnosing problems replacing repairing parts testing and making adjustments or calibrationsUse electrical test instruments including multimeter amp meter scope meter and thermal imager to troubleshootrepair equipmentDisassemble machines equipment or devices to remove and replace defective partsCreate and complete assigned work orders generated by the CMMS programDocument all machine malfunctions to track machine efficiencyInterpret electrical printschematics including symbol ID location PLC card IO controls within various types of prints associated with North American European and Asian manufacturersContribute to creation of process documentation and quality work instructionParticipate in Continuous Improvement root cause analysis initiatives to increase equipment platform performanceEvaluate and provide feedback to optimize preventative maintenance plansFollow safety policy and procedures to include but not limited to lock out tag outMay perform other duties as assigned by supervisorProperly dispose of waste ink spent solvents and other designated waste according to hazardous waste handling guidelinesKnowledge Skills & Abilities Required Requires eight 8 years of electro mechanical experience or four 4 years of electro mechanical experience with an associate degree in electro mechanical technology or similarWork cohesively with team members to achieve departmental goalsAbility to lead develop and support small teamsManage and complete equipment related projects on timePossess excellent electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and problem solving skillsExperienced in a manufacturingproduction environmentSupport leadership in the event of absenceMust be able to communicate and work effectively within maintenance team and with internal customersMust be familiar with AC and DC circuits low voltage through 480v three phase powerOffice software and computer navigation skillsMust be able to analyze many variables and choose the most effective course of actionMust be able to resolve problems and make effective decisions under pressureAbility to work independently or as a member of a teamAbility to give receive and analyze informationAbility to meet deadlines May be required to work some overtimeKnowledge of and the ability to speak the English language fluentlyAbility to read comprehend and follow implicit and explicit written and oral instructionsAbility to use hands for 100 of work time eg wrenches screw drivers drills etc; and reach above shoulders for 25 of work timeAbility to stand and walk for 75 of work time; and stoop kneel crouch or crawl for 25 of work timeAbility to lift up to 25 pounds or less 30 of work time up to 50 pounds or less 15 of work time and up to 75 pounds or less 15 of work timeAbility to see clearly at 20 inches or less or 20 feet or more and the ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focusMay lift up to 100 poundsGreat benefits for the entire family Health Dental & Vision plan with Wellness discountFREE On site Health ClinicFlexible Spending AccountLife Insurance & Disability Insurance401k and Profit Sharing Plan with 6 matchPaid vacation AND personal timePaid holidays starting day oneEmployee Assistance ProgramFREE On site Fitness CenterWorking Conditions Work near moving mechanical partsNearly constant exposure to vibrations noise strobeflashing light and chemical odorsWork in high precarious placesMay work in outside weather conditionsNon sales job postings are limited to residents in the states of Wisconsin and Arizona only Belmark is an Equal Opportunity Employer Eligibility for internal transfers is based on completion of required trainings overall performance attendance record qualifications and tenure in your current position
