Lead Valet Driver Luxury Condominium Chicago Illinois Stratton Amenities Stratton Amenities is seeking an experienced Lead Valet Driver to oversee residential valet operations at a luxury condominium in Chicago This is a working supervisor role The Lead Valet must actively park vehicles while leading the valet team and maintaining elevated hospitality standards appropriate for a high end residential environment Prior valet supervisory experience is required Position Overview The Lead Valet Driver is responsible for daily shift execution team leadership resident experience and operational accountability This individual serves as the primary on site liaison between property management and Stratton leadership while remaining fully engaged in daily valet operations Key Responsibilities Supervise and lead valet attendants during assigned shiftsPark and retrieve resident and guest vehicles safely and efficientlySet the standard for professional appearance posture and communicationMaintain strict key control ticketing accuracy and damage prevention proceduresManage vehicle staging and traffic flow within drive lanes and garage areasConduct pre shift briefings and reinforce service expectationsTrain coach and hold team members accountable to performance standardsAddress resident requests and concerns promptly and professionallyComplete incident reports and escalate operational issues as requiredMonitor team punctuality attendance and overall conductEnsure zero lapse in coverage and smooth shift transitionsQualifications Minimum 3 years of valet parking experienceMinimum 12 years in a lead or supervisory valet roleExperience in luxury residential or high end hospitality environments preferredValid drivers license with clean driving recordAbility to operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles preferredStrong leadership presence with the ability to manage performance directlyPolished communication skills and professional demeanorAbility to work evenings weekends and holidays as requiredPhysical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periodsAbility to run short distances when retrieving vehiclesAbility to work outdoors in all weather conditionsAbility to lift up to 30 poundsCompensation and Benefits Pay range 2021 per hour plus tips Benefits include health dental and vision insurance paid sick leave and paid time off
