Regional Sales Director

Position Summary
The Director, Regional Sales – Healthcare (IMS) is responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities in the assigned region. They will lead team to achieve profitability and growth targets in line with company vision and values.
This is a remote based customer facing position. To support and service our customers in this assigned territory candidates must be based out of one of the following states: New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York.
Duties
- The Director, Regional Sales is responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities in an assigned region.
- Increase regional sales revenue and profitability through the direct supervision and management of assigned representatives
- Works closely with individual Account Managers and Customers, analyzing Customer needs, and identifying customized solutions.
- Utilizes advanced sales and Customer interaction skills to create and deliver presentations customized to individual Customers of varying levels including Managers, Directors, Doctors, and other senior level Customers.
- Coaches and trains direct reports on how to effectively understand customer needs, selling Value Drivers, and resolving customer needs to obtain business results.
- Works with Account Manager on developing effective opportunity plans.
- Manage sales activity and productivity reports for assigned representatives
- Implement and manage the preparation of and completion of 30/90/360 planners (GPS)
- Assist President of Sales with planning and presentation of regional, divisional and national business meetings
- Assist Area Vice President of Sales with preparation of regional business plan and assignment of regional sales quotas
- Accountable for unbilled and uncollected revenue within the region
- Recruit for local assigned area
- Attend national trade show functions as necessary
- Perform applicable sales reporting tasks
Required Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree required with a minimum of 8 years successful selling track record
- 3 years sales management experience highly preferred
- Service sales experience, medical industry experience, and knowledge of local region strongly preferred
- System skills—Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM
- Industry certifications preferred (IAHCSMM, AORN, SGNA, and/or CCSVP) or able to obtain in first year of employment
- It is expected that the incumbent lives in his/her territory
- Must be available during common Customer hours, which can vary (might include evening hours)
- Overnight travel required — up to 50%
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Must be able to be compliant with hospital/customer credentialing requirements
Pay range for this opportunity is $104,680.00 – $140,920.50.This position is eligible for commission.
Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed. Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.

Part-time employees working 20 or more hours receive a pro-ration of the full-time PTO allocation and paid Holidays based on their standard hourly work week. Full-Time employees are eligible for four weeks of paid parental leave. Part-time employees also receive paid parental leave, pro-rated based on their standard hourly work week.
