Position Summary
TheTechnician may assist in other production-based positions in the facility including Stainless Steel rework,material handling and paint preparation.
Duties
Disassemble, troubleshoot and reassembles medical equipment including surgical tables
Daily work is performed independently and within teams and includes repairs to electrical andhydraulic components, refinishing of certain metal and plastic parts, and prep equipment forpainting/polish.
Use and understand torque wrenches, test equipment, and troubleshooting techniques. 4.
Maintain and perform published productivity standards on moderately challenging assemblies byutilizing a work instruction, prints, and standard work.
Maintain and perform work to meet the departments published quality standards and overall Customersatisfaction standards.
Maintain safe work areas and perform safe work habits in accordance to all safety regulations, audits,and actively holds self and teammates accountable to safe working conditions including all neededand/or required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Apply and perform to 5S programs and act with a LEAN mindset to work.
Perform to all policies, procedures and STERIS values as trained and communicated. 9.

Required Experience
Minimum one year work experience; 6 months in working with mechanical and/or hydraulics diagnosisand repair, and experience working in a quality and Customer focused environment.
Demonstrated attention to detail, focus on quality of work, right the first time through specific qualitysystems
Must be able to read and write details about each repair including basic organizational andtroubleshooting and problem-solving skills. 4.
Proven ability to take direction, to listen, learn, and work in a team environment. Ability to effectivelycommunicate with teammates and leadership.
Understanding of and willingness to adhere to STERIS Values and support our Mission and Vision. 6.
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment, where employees pitch in together and lenda helping plan on whatever is needed.
Willing to work overtime and weekends, flexible shifts as needed.

Pay range for this opportunity is $58,012.50 – $75,075.00. [ACTION REQUIRED – REMOVE IF NOT APPLICABLE:] This position is eligible for bonus participation.
Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed. Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.
