Senior OR Integration System Designer

Position Summary
The Sr. OR Integration System Designer reports into the North America Commercial Operations organization and supports the global OR Integration Business. This role is a key member of the OR Integration sales process, working closely with the ORI Sales Specialist, Account Manager and Project Design Manager to design custom video integration solutions according to Customer specifications.
Key responsibilities include analyzing Customer requirements, designing system layouts and generating cost/list pricing. The output of the work generated by the Sr. OR Integration System Designer is used by the Customer, Sales, Product Engineering, Operations and Manufacturing.
To be successful in this role, the individual should be technically oriented, have a strong focus on quality/details and have demonstrated project management skills.

Job Responsibilities:
++System++ ++Design:++
- Design custom video integration systems to meet specifications defined by ORI Sales Specialists and Account Managers

Analyze requirements from the Needs Assessment Form to determine feasibility of Customer request

Draw and design layout of integration system

Identify components/parts required to configure integration system

Generate room cost and list pricing for Customer proposal/quotation

Create proposal summary which contains functional description of equipment and layout drawings
- Spec custom integration solutions through collaboration with Product Engineering and Product Management
- Remain current on product offerings and product changes which impact the design and configuration of integration systems. These changes may require rework to existing system designs.
- Manage pricing and quoting specifications according to GPO/IDN contract guidelines
- Create system mockups for validation and testing.
- Leads Design reviews and marks up the work of the ORI system designers.
- Manage Critical Account issues to completion.
- Lead small NPD projects.
Skills and Experience:
++Document Management:++
- Manage Needs Assessment Form requests to ensure Account Managers receive completed proposals within required timeline
- Create and update Needs Assessment Form used by ORI Sales Specialists/Account Managers to document Customer specifications
- Create and update Configuration Spreadsheet and Master Suite Designer to ensure correct components are included in system design and pricing
- Generate Bill of Material to be used by Operations and Engineering for sourcing of components and building of integration system
++Change Management/Continuous Improvement :++
- Identify and implement enhancements to OR Integration sales process to improve efficiencies.
- Conduct training for other members of team

Document product design rules

Review system layout drawings and pricing documents for accuracy
- Provide training to field-based employees and Sales Support specific to the integration quoting process
- Evaluate and implement software tools to improve the system design process.

Required Experience
- Bachelor’s degree Engineering, Computer Science, Business Management or another related field preferred
- Experience within the computer technology industry
- 3-5 years of sales support/customer service
- 5 years’ experience in A/V system support, installation, troubleshooting and/or system design.
- 4 Years’ experience with AutoCAD, VidCAD or Stardraw
Preferred Experience

Pay range for this opportunity is $77,800.00 – $104,727.00.
Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed. Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.
