Inventory Coordinator

Position Summary
The Inventory Coordinator position keeps track of field technician test equipment and needed consumable material in warehouse ensuring available equipment is serviceable and with calibration as required. This person must ensure that all supplies and equipment needed by field technicians to perform their daily jobs are in stock and available for distribution.
The position requires interaction on a continuing basis with Customer Operations and Scheduling to ensure all required equipment for specific Service Orders is staged and ready for pickup. Responsible for maintaining organization within the staging areas as well as the Tool Cage and consumables stock areas. Assists field technicians at time of loading and unloading vehicles. Performs pickup of necessary supplies as needed to support operations.
This is an onsite based position. To support and service our customers in this assigned territory candidates must be based out of the following area: Greater Boston area
Duties
OPERATIONAL DUTIES
- Inspect and Inventory inbound and outbound technician equipment and carts. (15%)
- Maintain stock of serviceable tools in the controlled Tool Cage area. Flag unserviceable tools such as broken or worn tools and provide replacement. (10%)
- Submit requisition forms for needed replacement tools and supplies. (5%)
- Ensure all outgoing tools and parts are in good working order and in Calibration, if appropriate. (15%)
- Maintain RFID sign in/sign out control program. (10%)
- Receive inbound shipments (mostly non HEPA filter shipments). Follow SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) in receiving this material. (5%)
- Maintain LEAN 5s Areas: Tool Cage, Consumables, Staging Areas. (15%)
INTERNAL CUSTOMER FOCUS
- Assist field technicians with loading and unloading equipment from vehicles. (5%)
- Verify serviceable material and equipment is available for field technician pickup during daytime and staging for off-hours pickup. (20%)
Education Degree
- High School Diploma or GED
Required Experience
- Inventory Control, 1+ (one plus) year experience
- Computer knowledge, 1+ (one plus) year experience
- General maintenance, 1+ (one plus) year experience
- Must be able to be compliant with hospital/customer credentialing requirements
Skills
- Excellent communications skills.
- Knowledge of general math equations.
- Organizational Skills.
- Basic Computer Skills to include working with Excel spreadsheets.
