Are you passionate about making a difference in others lives Then come join the Straight and Narrow team Headquartered in Paterson NJ Straight and Narrow is the largest program of its kind We provide innovative and compassionate services to individuals struggling with substance use and co occurring disorders We are looking for dedicated caring and compassionate people to work in our ResidentialOutpatient Treatment Facilities and Community Programs Senior Clinical Director of the Mens Residential HWH and Detox Location All Straight and Narrow Programs Salary Negotiable You may be deployed to any Straight and Narrow program location based on agency needs General Summary Ensure all of the DetoxHWH and Mens Residential Programs that Straight & Narrow provides its clients is consistent with Straight & Narrows Philosophy of Treatment; and that Straight & Narrows Continuous Quality Improvement program operates effectively for the benefit of the organization its employees and clients While serving as the Senior Clinical Director will maintain the responsibility for the overall functioning of the Programs; long term planning for the DetoxHWH and Mens Residential; and ensuring the provision of quality treatment and care for residential and outpatient clients in accordance with the requirements of all accrediting regulating and licensing bodies catholic Charities Straight & Narrows mission vision values and philosophy of treatment This position requires on call responsibilities Qualifications Be a New Jersey licensed psychologist with at least five years of experience in addiction services two of those years in a supervisory capacity who possesses a Certification of Proficiency in the Treatment of Alcohol and other Psychoactive Substance Use Disorders from the American Psychological Association College of Professional Psychology or is a Certified Clinical Supervisor by the Addictions Professionals Certification Board of New Jersey APCBNJBe a New Jersey licensed clinical social worker with at least five years of experience in addiction services two of those years in a supervisory capacity who is a certified clinical supervisor by the APCBNJBe a New Jersey licensed professional counselor or licensed marriage and family therapist with at least five years of experience in addiction services two of those years in a supervisory capacity who is a certified clinical supervisor by the APCBNJBe a New Jersey LCADC with at least five years of experience in addiction services two of those years in a supervisory capacity who in addition holds a clinical masters degree recognized by the State Board of Marriage and Family Therapy Examiners Alcohol and Drug Committee Division of Consumer Affairs New Jersey Department of Law and Public Safety;Be a New Jersey licensed physician who is certified by the American Society of Addiction Medicine or is a Board certified psychiatrist and has at least two years of supervisory experience in addiction servicesBe a New Jersey licensed advanced practice nurse with at least five years of experience in addiction services two of those years in a supervisory capacity who is a clinical supervisor certified by the APCBNJ orHave a doctoral degree in human services mental health or social work with at least two years of supervisory experienceIncumbents with a masters degree in counseling or social work not possessing any of the qualifications set forth in a1 through 6 above shall obtain LCADC status or another health professional license that includes diagnostic and supervisory authority for work of an alcohol and drug counseling nature by July 15 2016Benefits For full time positions we offer medical vision dental life and supplemental life insurance Accidental and Critical Illness Insurance 403B with employer match Paid Time off PTO in house training seminars two training days for certified professionals SN also offers supervision for those individuals trying to become licensed in NJ as a LCADCCADC LSW LCSW LAC LPC and LMFT We participate in employee discount programs such as the Working Advantage program
