Are you passionate about making a difference in others lives Then come join the Straight and Narrow team Headquartered in Paterson NJ Straight and Narrow is the largest program of its kind We provide innovative and compassionate services to individuals struggling with substance use and co occurring disorders We are looking for dedicated caring and compassionate people to work in our ResidentialOutpatient Treatment Facilities and Community Programs Residential Life Supervisor Schedule per week Monday Tuesday Thursday Friday & Sunday 800am 400pm Location Travel to Paterson and Secaucus Locations Regular Salary 1600 2000Hr Job Summary Supervise Residential Life staff and client outside appointments Ensure a clean and orderly physical plant and take a leadership role in maintaining a safe disciplined and caring environment on the unit Be available on call 247 in the absence of Senior Residential Life Director Position Specific Duties and Responsibilities Maintain a safe disciplined and caring environment on the unit and wherever the units clients and children travel within or outside the agency Assume responsibilities of Residential Life Director in hisher absence from the agency in coordination with program director andor designeeHave a thorough knowledge of CC Straight & Narrows Policies & Procedures and Clients Handbook and enforce the rules and structures contained thereinAssist in scheduling all Residential Life RL Associates and ensure there is adequate coverage on all shiftsAssign on going and specific tasks to RL Associates filling in when necessary to ensure their completionOversee Petty Cash as assignedProvide client interventions as neededAttend client interventions case conferences and Multidisciplinary Meetings MDT Team Morning Meetings in the absence of the RL DirectorAppoint Room Representative as needed for new clientsAssign clients rooms ensure rooms are labeled appropriatelyOversee Jobsite roster on every clientSchedule clients for sick call when assignedSchedule clients outside appointments OSAs and coordinate with transportation or provide transportation by unit for approved OSAs; assign staff or resident to escort each OSA when assignedEnsure that daily client count sheet is prepared and completed by RL staffSchedule and supervise clients daily housekeeping tasks General Inspections during assigned shiftsMonitor and order all household supplies for the unit and urine analysis suppliesNotify kitchen in advance of all activities that require changing a meal time or reduce the number of meals requiredEnsure that new clients are greeted and oriented appropriately by RL Associate staffKeep a current log of clients on Behavioral Change Agreements BCACollect clients urines and administer breathalyzer test in accordance with Policy & Procedure on an as needed basisFollow all Electronic Health Records EHR policiesDocument and Process all Special Request for clients on the units and ensure the Clinical Care Managers receive these Special Request FormsMaintain and File all documents regarding special dietary needsEnsure clients honor the scheduled appointments with Medical nutritionist etcQualifications Associates Degree with 3 years relevant experience or Bachelors degree with a minimum of two year experience working in the field of addiction treatment Two years supervisory experience required Have CPR certification or achieve CPR certification within thirty days from the date of hire Behavioral Assistance Certification preferred especially for adolescent treatment unit Must have a valid drivers license from the state of residence and a clear driving record Travel to Secaucus and Paterson Benefits For full time positions we offer medical vision dental life and supplemental life insurance Accidental and Critical Illness Insurance 403B with employer match Paid Time off PTO in house training seminars two training days for certified professionals SN also offers supervision for those individuals trying to become licensed in NJ as a LCADCCADC LSW LCSW LAC LPC and LMFT We participate in employee discount programs such as the Working Advantage program
