Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist CRNA Naval Hospital Jacksonville FL Matrix Providers is hiring a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist CRNA to provide full time anesthesia services at Naval Hospital Jacksonville FL Highlights Rate 200hourSchedule Flexible Schedule 4×10 or 3×12 availableEmployment Type Full timeLicense Flexibility Any active US state license acceptedRequirements Masters degree in nursingGraduate of a COA approved Nurse Anesthesia ProgramCertification by AANA or NBCRNAClinical competency within the last 2 yearsCurrent full active and unrestricted US state license as a CRNAWhy Join Matrix Providers Serve military service members and their familiesCompetitive pay with predictable hoursJob Summary Manage patient anesthesia experience perform preoperative evaluations and preparations administer monitored anesthesia care regional and general anesthesia monitor and manage patient reactions to anesthesia and surgery manage fluid therapy perform and manage invasive monitoring and perform post operative evaluations as privileged by the Medical Treatment Facility Credentials CommitteePerform a pre anesthetic assessment and evaluation of the patient This includes obtaining informed consent from the patient requesting consultations and diagnostic studies and ordering pre anesthetic medicationsDevelop and implement an anesthetic plan of carePerform an assessment immediately before the induction of anesthesia of the patient This includes a review of the medical record regarding completeness pertinent laboratory data time of administration and dosage of pre anesthesia medication together with an appraisal of any changes in the patients condition from previous visits This note shall include any previous anesthetic experiences and complications noted in the medical recordMaintain the patients physiological homeostasis and correct abnormal responses to the anesthesia and surgeryCollect and interpret patient physiological data by selecting applying or inserting noninvasive monitoring modalitiesManage the patients airway and pulmonary statusManage the patients emergence and recovery from anesthesia by maintaining homeostasis providing relief from pain and anesthesia side effects and preventing complications by selecting obtaining ordering and administering medications fluids or ventilator supportRecord all pertinent events during the introduction maintenance and emergence from anesthesia including the dosage and duration of all anesthetic agents other drugs intravenous fluids and blood or blood components on all patients that have received anesthesia careRecord post anesthetic visits including at least one note describing the presence or absence of anesthesia related complications of the procedureMatrix Providers support our employees & contractors with an accessible dedicated representative to assist you throughout the duration of your contract We firmly believe that a healthy worklife balance enables you to perform at your best Our mission is to serve Americas military family by aligning exceptional healthcare workers like you with rewarding career opportunities Come home to Matrix IND123
