first organization this position requires hybrid onsite work in Battle Creek Michigan for the duration of this contract Position Summary The Web Developer Engineer Basic Level supports the design development testing deployment and sustainment of secure web based applications supporting mission systems This role performs assigned software development tasks with minimal supervision and interfaces with customers and project teams to implement requirements The developer applies established development standards and security controls while contributing to clientserver application modernization and web interface development in compliance with government security and certification requirements Primary Duties and Responsibilities Web Application Development and Support Design develop enhance debug test and implement web based and clientserver software applicationsDevelop and maintain web pages and assist in porting legacy or clientserver applications to web interfacesUtilize technologies such as C NET HTML XML PERL Apache and related tools to support application functionalityTroubleshoot and resolve production issues related to software applicationsResearch test build and integrate new software components or products based on client requirementsAddress systems integration platform compatibility and multi environment deployment challengesRequirements Analysis and Customer Support Interface with customers end users and project teams to gather and clarify application requirementsConsult with project teams to identify functional needs and implementation approachesAssist management with feasibility analysis for potential future development effortsProvide timely responses to user feedback defect reports and enhancement requestsTesting Documentation and Sustainment Participate in application testing validation and deployment activitiesAssist in the development and maintenance of software documentation and user manualsSupport ongoing sustainment activities including bug fixes minor enhancements and performance improvementsSecurity Compliance and Standards Develop and maintain applications in compliance with government security and certification requirementsApply secure coding practices in accordance with DoD 85708140 requirements and applicable security guidanceSupport compliance activities related to audits vulnerability remediation and configuration managementCollaboration and Professional Development Work effectively within cross functional development teams with minimal supervisionDemonstrate good customer relation skills while supporting mission and operational needsFollow established development standards processes and configuration management controlsMinimum Requirements Associate degree in Computer Science or a related fieldTwo 2 years of experience in scripting software development and web page design and developmentHands on experience utilizing C NET HTML XML PERL andor ApacheExperience with SharePoint Online SPO DreamWeaver FrontPage or related web development toolsRelevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authorityGood customer relation and communication skillsAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionMust possess an IT II Non Critical Sensitive security clearance or Tier 3 T3DoD 85708140 compliance with an approved baseline certification for Category IAT Level II roles supporting web development with administrative or privileged accessCompensation In accordance with pay transparency law the expected salary range for this position is 89000 115000 annually The actual compensation offered will be determined based on factors such as the candidates experience qualifications skills and location We are
