Who we are The Domain Companies is a national real estate development and investment firm focused on making a positive and lasting social economic and physical impact on the communities in which we build Domain is responsible for a diverse range of innovative projects including affordable mixed income and luxury apartments condominiums hospitality retail entertainment venues and creative workspace For more information go to wwwthedomaincoscom What were looking for We are seeking a Leasing Specialist who is personable empathetic creative and driven This individual will be a self starter with excellent sales and customer service skills with a proven ability to close leases This position is highly visible and requires a warm demeanor collaborative spirit and impeccable follow through What youll be doing Lease apartments to prospective tenants and maximize revenue by effectively selling the value of our propertiesProspect relentlessly to generate traffic build a pipeline and close leasesDevelop execute and monitor a marketing and social media strategy in partnership with the corporate marketing team and property leadership Conduct regular market surveys and track effectiveness of current strategies Listen and understand the market landscape Share insights and ideas with leadership and corporate partnersCreate a memorable and seamless move in and move out for our residents in collaboration with the property teamEnsure the property remains in impeccable condition Conduct annual unit inspections and coordinate maintenance requests Follow up with residents to ensure our products and services have exceeded their satisfactionProvide firsthand knowledge of the local area and our community Make recommendations about activities local businesses and services to ensure residents and guests have positive experience that meets their needsAssist in planning coordinating and promoting resident social eventsBe proactive about solving problems even if its outside of your area and be ready to take on additional initiatives and responsibilities as they emergeSeek out opportunities to be a leader and do everything you can to help the company achieve its larger objectivesSkills Experience and Qualifications Required High school or GED requiredA minimum of 2 years of market rate leasing experience preferred Previous sales experience also preferredCustomer centric with a warm demeanor positive attitude and impeccable follow throughAbility to work independently and with a teamAbility to plan and prioritize efficiently and motivatelead team membersAbility to work in a fast paced environment and complete multiple tasks with simultaneous deadlinesinterruptionsStrong written and oral communication and problem solving skillsKnowledge of the city; knowledge of the local transportation options to include public and private transportation optionsMaintain an organized filing system and office areasTechnically savvy ie smart phones and computersComputer proficiency included but not limited to Microsoft OfficePhysical Demands This position involves regular walking standing sitting for extended periods of time hearing and talkingMay occasionally involve stooping kneeling or crouchingMay involve close vision color vision depth perception focus adjustment and viewing computer monitor for extended periods of timeInvolves manual dexterity for using keyboard mouse and other office equipmentMay involve moving or lifting items at or about 40 poundsWork Hour Requirements Ability to work a flexible schedule based on the property as well as company needsAbility to work weekendsRegular dependable attendance and punctualityCompensation & Benefits Competitive pay 60000 65000 with potential annual bonusesHealth and wellness benefits with 4 different plan offeringsCompany paid Life Insurance and Short Term DisabilityPaid Parental Leave Program up to 8 weeks of 100 pay401k matching program up to 410 days of paid vacation 7 sick days and 10 company holidays annuallyFun extracurricular activities and perks2 Volunteer days and an annual community day where we get to give back togetherProfessional development opportunitiesThis job description is not all inclusive The Domain Companies reserves the right to amend this job description at any time The Domain Companies is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to a diverse and inclusive work environment
