The Evergreen holding company team is comprised of 40+ professionals based in San Francisco who are focused on capital allocation, M&A, executive level hiring, strategic board leadership, and finance and accounting. Evergreen is seeking a highly skilled Accounting Manager to lead the finance and accounting functions at our newly acquired operating company, New Dominion Networks, located just outside of Richmond, VA in Glen Allen, VA.
This pivotal role will oversee daily financial operations, manage key accounting processes, and collaborate with the U.S.-based accounting team on reporting and analysis. The Accounting Managerwill play a critical role in ensuring financial integrity while providing significant exposure to the organization’s operations and growth. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage finance and accounting functions, including budgeting, audit processes, and month-end close, in compliance with U.S. GAAP accounting standards.
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Invoicing, Fixed Assets, Collections, Monthly Reconciliations, and Sales and Use Tax.
- Participate in and manage accounting operations, systems, and processes, setting and attaining goals while managing special projects.
- Maintain and continuously improve standard operating procedures (SOPs) for accounting and finance
- Prepare and oversee financial reporting for internal, corporate, and peer group
- Take an integral role in customer billing processes, including monthly and annual price changes, billing-related incentives, and commissions.
- Liaise with key business partners, including banks, landlords, vendors, and

- Manage core HR functions such as tracking PTO accruals and administering employee benefits including 401(k), health, dental, vision, and life insurance plans.
- Interface with state and federal agencies to ensure compliance with tax regulations and employment-related
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related
- Strong understanding of S. GAAP accounting principles be able to apply and support U.S GAAP-compliant accounting practices.
- Experience managing various accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and financial reporting.
- Proven problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and a keen eye for
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and manage relationships with key business stakeholders.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving
- Experience in the Managed Service Provider (MSP) space is a plus.
This role will operate fully on-site out of their Glen Allen, Virginia office and will host a base compensation of $90-100,000 per year. At this time, we are not offering relocation and will prioritize candidates located near Richmond, VA.
