COLSA Corporation is seeking a Manufacturing Planner/Scheduler in Huntsville, AL to support our uncrewed systems capability. In this role, you will play a key part in coordinating production planning, material readiness, and manufacturing execution to support the build and delivery of advanced aerial platforms.

*Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential functions):**

  • Development and management of manufacturing bills of material for multiple platforms*
  • Development of manufacturing processes and procedures*
  • Create, release, and manage work orders in the ERP/MRP system*
  • Sequence and prioritize production jobs to meet customer and program requirements*
  • Manage kitting, staging, and material availability for production orders*
  • Work instruction development and maintenance*
  • Coordinate with purchasing to ensure timely delivery of materials*
  • Performs assembly of mechanical and electrical drones, and buildup of assemblies & subassemblies
  • Participates in Preliminary Design Reviews, Production Readiness Reviews, and Post-Production Reviews*
  • Technical liaison between engineering and manufacturing*
  • Assists with inventory management activities*
  • Manages supplies and equipment for the team*
  • Assist with the development of a Master Production Schedule
  • Make vs. Buy analysis on all components across all platforms*

Required Skills

Required Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent
  • Minimum of 7-9 years’ related experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Hands on experience with ERP/MRP systems
  • Working knowledge of desktop applications including word processing, spreadsheet, and database software packages
  • US Citizenship required; May be required to obtain/maintain a DoD security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2 years of manufacturing on a government contract
  • Experience with Deltek MRP or SAP
  • Experience managing government furnished equipment
  • Experience with configuration management
