What Youll Do at BTS The greatest ideas in the world will die on the vine if not properly implemented At BTS we turn our clients ideas and strategies into results We do this by designing customized learning experiences that drive innovation alignment and performance As a Business Development Associate youll use an analytical approach to drive lead generation for new client pipeline development and existing account expansion as well as support the overall sales initiatives of our rapidly growing US business Your primary responsibility will be to generate and develop sales leads with large Fortune 1000 type companies particularly using tools such as salesforcecom and LinkedIn Extensive internetdatabase research and email work will be part of your everyday life and some cold calling may be necessary but not always If you enjoy identifying target companies through key industry vertical research managing sales opportunity follow through organizing client meetings and assisting in the development of sales and marketing language and strategies then youll love this role This is a great opportunity for someone to rapidly take on significant responsibility and have a real and measurable impact on the overall growth of the company Although you will be part of a growing and dynamic global sales team you will over time develop the skills to operate successfully with minimal support This role is based in NYC and we have a hybrid work environment with an expectation of at least 4 days a week in our NYC office What Were Looking For Curiosity Creativity An analytical mind set A hungry hunter Executive presence These are core attributes of BTS all stars We also look for humble team players who have a hunger to learn and grow in our entrepreneurial environment A year or two of experience in business development or sales is highly desirable We need someone who is highly organized and process oriented can communicate with all levels and approaches the sales and relationship building process in a consultative manner A natural networker who can play the long game and who understands how to articulate the benefits of an intangible service And most importantly someone with a sense of humor who knows how to celebrate wins and have fun along the way Experience with database management preferably salesforcecom is a big plus A Bachelors degree and great skills with Microsoft Office suite are required Eligibility to work in the US permanently without sponsorship is required About BTS AT BTS we focus on the people side of strategy helping the worlds leading companies turn strategy into results We design fun powerful experiences that have a profound and lasting impact on people and their careers inspiring new ways of thinking building critical capabilities and unleashing business success Compensation Details Base Salary 70000 75000 annually Commission Structure Competitive and performance driven tied to business development success Bonus Eligible for annual performance bonus based on the achievement of key performance indicators KPIs
