Youth Soccer Coach (2 – 8yr old Children)

$18 per class – Part-time

Soccer Shots Orange County is seeking a positive individual, with a passion for teaching & working with children. Soccer Shots introduces soccer to children ages 2-8 at preschools all over the Orange County area. We are currently in need of a great youth soccer coach to help us run sessions at several of our centers in Orange County. We offer rewarding work and GREAT PAY (STARTING at $18 per session). Previous teaching experience is a BIG plus.

Coaching Description: Classes are Monday through Friday in preschools and Saturdays at park programs in select locations, 30-60 minutes for each session depending on age. We provide training, coaching equipment, and all curriculum materials. We pay $18 for each session (STARTING) . We are prioritizing a soccer coach that will be available for multiple sessions throughout the week and specifically for our afternoon sessions (NEED: Tues/Wed/Thurs starting at 2:30pm). This part-time soccer coach position is available immediately.

Essential Soccer Coach Qualifications:

  • Available — Minimum 3 weekday AFTERNOONS (including Wednesday) Saturday mornings (9:00 am – 11:00am), and must minimally commit through the school year
  • Fun & Silly — enjoys having FUN with young children, being goofy, using your imagination, and watching children smile. MUST enjoy teaching young children, be able to confidently connect with children primarily ages 2-5. Your goal is to make Soccer Shots the best 30-45min of each child’s week.
  • Reliable transportation — must have safe and reliable transportation to and from work and a valid driver’s license.
  • Background check cleared — successful candidate must pass a Child Abuse History Clearance and Background Check.
  • Tb test results

Preferred Soccer Coach Qualifications:

  • Experience working with children
  • CPR/First Aid certified or ability to attain if needed.
  • Previous teaching or education/coaching experience (preferably children ages 2-8)
