Volunteer FNP Student Job Description Who we are La Clnica de La Raza is a community based health center committed to providing culturally appropriate high quality and accessible health care to the diverse communities of the San Francisco Bay Area This position is only available to current students from Sonoma State University As an FNP volunteer student you will have the opportunity to work alongside and be supervised by a licensed medical provider who will provide you the student feedback regarding questions and to correct errors when applicable Gain practicum experiences in an FQHC setting that are of critical importance to a successful learning experience in FNP program The practicum setting allows for the synthesis of concepts and the application of didactic learning The FNP student will work closely with a preceptor learning from licensed provider advice and example Through supervision the FNP student can progressively develop the skills and judgment necessary to become an FNP
