Life Enrichment Director StoryPoint of Chattanooga Position Summary The Life Enrichment Director plans organizes coordinates and facilitates life enrichment activities that are beneficial and complimentary to the social welfare and interests of the residents of a senior living community The Life Enrichment Director will also lead train and be accountable for Life Enrichment support roles within the community Required Experience for Life Enrichment Director High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of three years related experience andor training preferredMust be able to work a flexible schedule which may include evenings weekends and holiday hoursCompassionate towards the senior populationProficient in general computer skillsMust have prior experience leading a teamOrganizational and time management skillsPrimary Responsibilities for Life Enrichment Director Actively support our 1440 culture and pillarsResponsible for the overall direction planning communication and execution of activities and life skills in the Life Enrichment DepartmentImplement and maintain the Life Enrichment Standards for all community service offeringsComplete all tasks and functions while maintaining a high level of resident safetySupport in proper setup clean up and upkeep of activity areas and community spacesAdhere to and uphold all standards in the Employee HandbookCollaborate with other departments to create the best experience at the communityMust be able to work a flexible schedule which may include evenings weekends and holiday hoursLead train and hold accountability for the Life Enrichment support roles LEL LEA Shuttle DriversProvide direction to Life Enrichment support roles regarding day to day activities and responsibilitiesResponsible for completion of all administrative tasks eg budget management pertaining to Life Enrichment with the ability to delegate where appropriate to Life Enrichment support rolesSupport functional responsibilities in absence of Executive Director as neededGeneral Working Conditions This position entails standing for long periods of time While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to communicate effectively with others sit stand walk and use hands to handle keyboard telephone paper files and other equipment and objects The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms This position requires the ability to review detailed documents and read computer screens The employee will occasionally lift andor move up to 25 pounds The work environment requires appropriate interaction with others The noise level in the work environment is moderate Occasional travel to different locations may be required We have comprehensive benefit packages that include health dental vision 401k income protection and extraordinary work life benefits This classification description is intended to indicate the general kinds of tasks and levels of work difficulty that are required of positions given this title and should not be construed as declaring what the specific duties and responsibilities of any particular position shall be It is not intended to limit or in any way modify the right of any supervisor to assign direct and control the work of the employees under herhis supervision The use of a particular expression or illustration describing duties shall not exclude other duties not mentioned that are of a similar kind or level of difficulty Equal Opportunity Employer Click on glassdoor to see our employee testimonials SP1
