Baird & Baird Family Dentistry is seeking a Dental Hygienist to join our team in Woodstock GA 2000 Sign on Bonus offered for a full time commitment Located at 4595 Towne Lake Pkwy Woodstock GA 30189 The ideal candidate has previous chairside experience is energetic team oriented and passionate about helping patients achieve their smile goals At Baird & Baird Family Dentistry we are committed to working together as a team to provide optimal dental health; from treatment plans and dental services to insurance coverage and financial plans Our dedicated friendly staff is our greatest asset We strive to provide you with a pleasant visit taking into account each patients individual needs; giving them a reason to SMILE Responsibilities Conduct patient screening procedures including assessing oral health conditions reviewing patient health history performing oral cancer screenings head and neck inspections dental charting and taking blood pressure and pulseTake digital radiographsFollow practice protocols for quality assurance biohazards infection control referrals emergency medicine implants perio program and emergency treatmentDemonstrate proficient skills in dental prophylaxis and use of cavitronprophy jetApply preventive materials to teeth eg sealants and fluorides and make impressions of patients teeth for study castsPromote good dental and general health by educating patients on oral hygiene techniques flossing and brushing providing oral hygiene instructions nutritional counseling and dispensing oral hygiene aidsMaintain a sterile and organized working environment following infection control proceduresFamiliarize patients with their dental visit provide support and compassionChart dentition evaluate hard and soft tissue document existing restorations decay perio charting and treatmentsCompetitive pay benefits with in fist 60 days 2K sign on Candidate Requirements Active GA RDH LicenseCPR and First Aid certificationFull Time Schedule Monday through Thursday 745am 500pmNO weekends
