Part Time Dental Hygienist Redwood Dental of Clinton Township 500 SOB Our office is growing and we are looking to add a passionate Dental Hygienist to our friendly team in Clinton Township At Redwood Dental of Clinton Township we are dedicated to improving our patients oral health and helping our patients achieve their perfect smile Our team strives to create a comfortable experience for our patients through our compassionate care and the family like atmosphere The ideal candidate is someone who is energetic team orientated and someone who loves working with patients to achieve their smile goals Job Duties May Include Conduct patient screening procedures; including assessment of oral health conditions review of patient health history oral cancer screening head and neck inspection dental charting and taking blood pressure and pulseTake digital radiographsFollow practice protocols quality assurance biohazards infection control referral emergency medicine implants perio program and emergency treatmentDemonstrate proficient skills in dental prophylaxis and proper use of cavitronprophy jetApply preventive materials to the teeth eg sealants and fluoridesMake impressions of patients teeth for study casts models of teeth used by dentists to evaluate patient treatment needsPromote an atmosphere supportive of good dental and general health by demonstrating proper oral hygiene educating patients on techniques of flossing and brushing in accordance with protocol effectively communicating oral hygiene instructions nutritional counseling and dispensing proper oral hygiene aidsMaintain a sterile and neat working environment according to current infection control proceduresFamiliarize the patient with the aspects of their dental visit and provide support and compassion to that patientChart entire dentition and hard and soft tissue evaluation including existing restorations decay perio charting and treatment documentationProvide positive professional leadership role; demonstrate positive patientstaff rapportStock all needed supplies and maintain equipmentSuccessfully maintain recall systemDemonstrate basic knowledge of applicable computer functionsSchedule Tuesday 900 AM 600 PMThursday 900 AM 600 PMIf youre looking for a welcoming office where you can make a difference and grow with a great team wed love to hear from you Apply today to join Redwood Dental of Clinton Township
