Seeking an experience Dental Assistant for a Full Time role split between two practices Buford and Sugar Hill 3700 Ridge Road Buford GA 305194520 Nelson Brogdon Blvd Sugar Hill GA 30518Job Duties Greets patients in waiting area and escorts patients to the operatoryAssists the dentist in the administration of treatment at the chair side as required or directed by the dentistMaintain a sterile and neat working environment according to current infection control proceduresReview the health history make chart entries under the direction of the dentist and assure completion of forms and signaturesAssume the responsibility associated with any duties that may be delegated by the dentistFamiliarize the patient with the aspects of their dental visit and provide support and compassion to that patient when it is neededStock operatories and maintain clinical supply inventoryReview daily schedule to set up appropriate trays and instrumentsAssist in front office procedures if time allows or need is determined by the Dentist or Office ManagerSupervise preventive maintenance of dental equipmentTake digital radiographsFollow practice protocols quality assurance biohazards infection control referral emergency medicine implants perio program and emergency treatmentMay perform the following proceduresRemove excess cement from supragingival surfaces of teeth with hand instrument or flossSize stainless steel crowns temporary crowns and bandsTemporary cementation and removal of temporary crowns and removal of orthodontic bandsPlacement of orthodontic separatorsPlacement and ligation of arch wiresPlacement of post extraction and periodontal dressingsTake bite registrations for diagnostic models for case study onlyRequirements 2 years of previous chairside dental assisting experienceAbility to commute to both Buford and Sugar HillCompensation Based on experience starting at 2400hourFull time employees receive access to our comprehensive benefit packageFull Time 4 DaysWeek Tuesdays and Wednesdays in Buford700am 500pmThursdays and Fridays in Sugar HillThursdays 730am 500pmFridays 730am 100pmNo Weekends
