The Clinical Application Specialist is responsible for providing clinical customer support by interfacing with sales and service personnel to effectively implement Nihon Kohden Patient Monitoring Systems into the customer sites Essential Functions and Main Duties Responsible for implementing the Nihon Kohden Clinical Partnership Program in the United States its territories and CanadaResponsible for developing and delivering customized training and support plans for Nihon Kohden equipment at customer accountsResponsible for leading implementation teams to complete the project on time safely and to the customers satisfactionResponsible for providing ongoing customer support either in person or by telephoneResponsible for making travel arrangements according to company policies and completing expense reports within designated timeframeResponsible to update product knowledge as product operations or features changeResponsible for remaining clinically knowledgeable and competent and for maintaining an active nursing licensureResponsible to manage time wisely and efficiently and to accomplish assignments within established timeframesResponsible for submitting required documentation within designated timeframeAdhere to all company policies procedures and business ethics codesDuties may be modified or assigned at any time based on business needQualifications Education Certification Experience Required Bachelors degree in nursingMust possess a valid unrestricted nursing license issued within the United States A valid drivers license and good driving record are required3 years of experience in critical care with knowledge of hemodynamics and the ability to troubleshoot complex critical nursing issues EKG rhythm interpretation is requiredCompetencies Required Excellent verbal and written communication skills Presents a professional image at all times with an above average skill in customer serviceAbility to read analyze and interpret equipment manuals general business periodicals or professional journalsAbility to write reports and business correspondenceAbility to effectively present information in one on one and group situations to customers and other employees of the organization and use technology to present complex information to customersWorking knowledge of Windows PCs proficient in Microsoft Outlook email applications and efficient with Word Excel and PowerPoint Office programsAbility to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and decimals;
