Job Title Associate Director of Auxiliary Services Location Ft Worth TX Job Type Full time Exempt Department Campus Housing Reports To Director of Auxiliary Services Date 1292026 Last Revision Standard of Christian Commitment The candidate must be a professing Christ follower who possesses a strong commitment to the mission and core values of Southwestern Seminary and Texas Baptist College possess a clear understanding of Southern Baptist heritage and culture and agrees to serve in accordance with and not contrary to the current edition of the Baptist Faith and Message Southwestern Seminary an entity of the Southern Baptist Convention is a confessional institution While the Seminary serves the larger evangelical Christian community employees must embrace the values and standards the Seminary represents as it fulfills its mission of shaping Christian leaders within our denominational context Since duties of this position require the employee to represent the Seminary to prospective and current students candidates must abide by the Seminary bylaws the Employee Handbook and the current edition of the Baptist Faith and Message as a condition of employment Job Description Job Summary The Associate Director of Auxiliary Services supports the Director by providing strategic managerial and spiritual leadership for Southwesterns campus housing community and auxiliary operations including Recreation and Aerobics and the Campus Post Office This position is responsible for the day to day oversight of housing services and assigned auxiliary functions ensuring a safe well maintained and Christ centered living learning and working environment The Associate Director collaborates with campus partners to steward institutional resources and promote community engagement wellness and spiritual formation among students residents and employees Key Responsibilities Reports to the Director of Auxiliary Services; sets goals and ensures alignment with Southwesterns mission values and best practices Demonstrates commitment to personal and professional growth in leadership and ministry effectivenessOversees housing and auxiliary operations including staffing budgets policies and proceduresCollaborates with campus departments to ensure excellent service and a positive residential and auxiliary experienceManages housing assignments occupancy facilities coordination billing meal plans and recordsLeads and develops staff; supports RDRA training conduct processes and community engagementProvides Christ centered leadership care and support for residents and staffOversees Post Office and RAC operations in collaboration with department managersEnsures confidentiality compliance and completion of other assigned dutiesPerforms other related duties as assigned and specific to area of responsibilityIt is the employee and supervisors shared responsibility to regularly meet to discuss performance suggest job description updates and set mutually beneficial goalsPerform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned to support the team and institutional goals SupervisoryLeadershipStewardship Responsibilities Directly supervises and leads Housing RAC and Post Office staff and managersCultivates a healthy faith centered and accountable work cultureLeads staff meetings and training; manages hiring evaluation and disciplineOversees budgets data integrity safety and risk management in coordination with campus partners Qualifications and Skills Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and leadership experience required; masters degree in higher education or related field preferredPreferred experience includes leadership at a Christian educational institution and demonstrated success in higher education operations student lifeservices housing facilities and program developmentHighly organized detail oriented self starter able to manage multiple priorities independently and collaborativelyStrong interpersonal and writtenverbal communication skills including cross cultural engagement and the ability to articulate the value propositions of SWBTSProficient in Microsoft Office Suite;
