Service Technician

Heavy Duty Truck & Equipment Mechanic Location: Farmingdale, NY Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM — 4:00 PM Pay: $25-$45 based on experience

Your Impactful Role Get hands-on with street sweepers, refuse trucks, sewer cleaners, vacuum trucks, and more. You’ll:

Repair diesel engines, chassis, and specialized heavy-duty systems

Handle routine maintenance (oil changes, brakes, filters, etc.)

Troubleshoot and fix mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues efficiently

Perform detailed inspections and road tests to ensure top safety and performance before return

What We’re Looking For

Mechanic experience (heavy-duty truck, diesel, or equipment preferred) OR tech/vocational school graduate

Your own basic tools (we supply specialty ones)

Sharp troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude

Detail-focused, deadline-driven, thrives in fast-paced shops

Bonus: Electrical/hydraulic knowledge or welding experience
