Role: – AEM Domain Lead

Location: Phoenix, AZ (Onsite)

Employment Type: Full-Time

This job will have the following responsibilities:

  • We are seeking an experienced AEM Domain Lead to drive content architecture, governance, and platform optimization for Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), preferably AEM as a Cloud Service. This role will serve as the primary SME for AEM capabilities, working closely with cross-functional teams to define scalable content models, streamline authoring workflows, and ensure excellence in digital experience delivery.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Must-Have Technical & Functional Skills

  • Hands-on expertise with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) , with strong preference for AEM as a Cloud Service (SaaS)

  • Strong proficiency in content model design , content fragments , metadata frameworks , and taxonomy development

  • Experience with DAM governance, asset workflows, and metadata standards

  • Solid understanding of AEM SaaS administration, including:

  • User/role management

  • Permissions

  • Workflows

  • Environment management

  • Knowledge of component and template governance, reusability standards, and scalable architecture principles

  • Strong understanding of content lifecycle management and authoring workflows

  • Ability to translate business and UX requirements into scalable AEM solutions

  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments

  • Exposure to AEM integrations, such as:

  • Adobe Analytics

  • Adobe Target

  • Other CMS/marketing automation tools

Roles & Responsibilities

AEM Platform Ownership & Expertise

  • Serve as the AEM domain expert, guiding content architecture, platform functionality, and best practices

  • Lead administration activities for AEM SaaS, including environment setup, user access, workflows, and platform configuration

Content Architecture & Governance

  • Define and govern content models , components , templates , and taxonomy standards

  • Ensure scalable, reusable, and consistent content structures across digital channels

  • Maintain governance for security, compliance, and accessibility (WCAG/ADA)

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with UX, Product, Marketing, and Engineering teams to translate business needs into AEM-ready technical specifications

  • Provide guidance and support to content authors and business stakeholders on AEM authoring best practices

Platform Optimization & Stability

  • Oversee AEM integrations, release readiness, and platform stability

  • Identify opportunities for performance optimization, workflow improvements, and continuous enhancement

Preferred Qualifications

  • AEM certification(s)

  • Experience with Adobe Experience Cloud ecosystem

  • Understanding of frontend frameworks used with AEM (e.g., React, SPA Editor)

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
