Location: Las Vegas, NV

Salary: $60.00 USD Hourly – $70.00 USD Hourly

Description: One of our clients is looking to hire a Senior BI / Analytics Engineer to join their team in a hybrid role based in Las Vegas. Someone who can blend advanced analytics engineering with executive-level reporting and data storytelling.

6 month contract with possibility for extensions
Hybrid in Las Vegas (2-3 days onsite)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply advanced SQL and data logic to large enterprise datasets
  • Build and optimize production-grade analytics workflows in Databricks
  • Use Python for data preparation, transformation, and analytics automation
  • Develop and modernize executive-ready dashboards in Power BI or Tableau
  • Partner directly with VP, SVP, and C-suite leaders to translate strategy into measurable analytics
  • Support self-service analytics applications and reusable internal data tools
  • Ensure BI assets are deployed across dev/test/prod environments

Skills & Experience:

  • 8 years in analytics engineering, BI engineering, or advanced analytics roles
  • Expert-level SQL (window functions, CTEs, complex joins, performance tuning)
  • Strong Python experience for data workflows and utilities
  • Hands-on experience with Databricks notebooks & workflows
  • Proven ability to create polished, actionable dashboards for executive audiences
  • Strong communicator able to simplify complex insights for non-technical leaders
  • Experience supporting multi-environment BI deployments
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/Google Cloud Platform)
