Manufacturing Operations Leader

As the Manufacturing Operations Leader with MacLean-Fogg, you will command daily operations in our fast-paced facility, ensuring that safety, quality, and efficiency are never compromised. Guide a team of experts, achieve production targets, and lead dynamic improvements across our multi-shift system.Position Overview

• Type: Full-Time, Salaried (Exempt)
• Salary: $65,000 – $85,000, based on skills and expertise
• Location: Onsite in Saegertown, PA
• Shift: Second Shift (3 PM – 11 PM)
• Travel: Minimal (<10%)

Core Duties

• Direct and mentor production staff, ensuring high standards of safety and productivity
• Manage operations for the assigned shift and lead transitions across other shifts
• Provide training and coaching to inspire and fulfill employee potential
• Analyze production metrics to ensure adherence to quality and efficiency benchmarks
• Rapidly troubleshoot and collaborate with maintenance and engineering for smooth operation
• Coordinate with planning and scheduling for effective resource alignment
• Support material management to optimize inventory levels
• Champion safety, environmental practices, and quality assurance consistently
• Maintain workplace organization and cleanliness through 5S practices
• Encourage innovative improvement and solution-oriented thinking
• Comprehensively manage production reports and safety records
• Engage in various tasks supporting cold forming and organizational goals

Essential Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree
• Experience: At least 5 years in manufacturing or production (cold forming expertise preferred), with 2+ years in a leadership capacity

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification or training in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma

Physical Requirements

• Capability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
• Must endure standing for long durations
• Able to maneuver objects weighing up to 50 pounds
• Frequent bending and stooping necessary
• Dexterity for handling small objects required
• Adaptability to work in noisy areas
