Job Description
Summary
The Industrial Engineering Co-Op will provide engineering support for the Corporate Industrial Engineering team. They will interact with wire and cable manufacturing plants to drive continuous improvement.
Description of Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and/or audit method standards for production activities
- Perform time study observations to establish and/or validate production standards
- Capital project requests, justifications & capital expenditure reporting
- Sales & Production data reporting
- Maintain accurate and current training documentation for SOPs and new employee onboarding
- Work with a variety of systems including but not limited to SAP, CableBuilder, Advaris, and JIRA
Eligibility Requirements
- Willingness and ability to commit to a minimum of 3 rotations
- Ability to work 40-hour work weeks during rotation
- Freshman, Sophomore, or Junior pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering
- Minimum GPA 2.5
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong data analysis skills
