About The Role The Payor Data Analyst plays a critical role in managing and ensuring the quality of client data within Sharecare’s operational processes. This remote, full-time position involves working closely with internal teams and clients to handle data ingestion, validation, and reporting. The analyst will serve as a subject matter expert on client-level data, overseeing data submission and ingestion processes, and ensuring compliance with governance standards for audit purposes. The role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to identify data discrepancies and collaborate with data and development teams to resolve issues. The Payor Data Analyst will also be responsible for generating and analyzing reports, supporting data collection and entry, and providing operational support to payor engagement managers. This position offers an excellent opportunity for candidates with a passion for data, healthcare, and problem-solving to contribute to impactful projects in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Structured Query Language (SQL)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and management
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, preferably in Data Science, Healthcare Administration, or related fields
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Effective problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interaction with clients, providers, and internal teams
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Strong leadership and conscious leadership skills
  • Ability to travel within the United States as required

Responsibilities

  • Act as the day-to-day processor of incoming client data, ensuring timely and accurate data handling
  • Serve as the point of escalation for client and team inquiries related to data issues
  • Generate reports for internal and external stakeholders, providing key data elements for decision-making
  • Assist with data collection, entry, processing, and delivery to relevant systems
  • Identify data shortfalls and collaborate with data and development teams to address gaps and improve data fidelity
  • Propose and implement solutions to ensure business continuity and data integrity
  • Provide operational support specific to client data to payor engagement managers
  • Maintain mastery understanding of all internal and external data and reporting requirements
  • Prepare, proof, and edit documents and spreadsheets for accuracy and clarity
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support team objectives and project deliverables
