About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Data Analytics team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the organization’s data-driven decision-making processes by designing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive Power BI and SQL-based reporting solutions. This role requires close collaboration with stakeholders across Operations, IT, Finance, and other departments to understand their needs and translate them into actionable insights. Reporting directly to the Reporting Team Manager, the Senior Business Intelligence Analyst will leverage tools such as SQL, Power BI, and Microsoft Fabric to develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations that facilitate strategic and operational improvements. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a keen business acumen to drive process enhancements and deliver value across the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, finance, or operations roles
- Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation
- Extensive experience with Power BI for report and dashboard development
- Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric or similar data integration tools
- Strong understanding of data modeling, data visualization techniques, and data warehousing concepts
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to analyze large datasets and identify trends
- Effective communication skills to convey technical insights to non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong business acumen with a focus on strategic and operational initiatives
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support Power BI and SQL-based reporting solutions to meet organizational needs
- Collaborate with business leadership and IT teams to gather requirements, propose technical solutions, and implement reporting tools
- Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations that communicate key data insights effectively
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvement
- Translate complex business needs into technical solutions that enable data-driven decision-making
- Utilize data modeling, data integration, and visualization techniques to enhance reporting accuracy and usability
- Drive continuous process improvements in business intelligence and reporting practices
- Communicate insights and technical solutions clearly to stakeholders at all levels
- Support cross-functional teams in understanding and utilizing data analytics tools effectively
