Chief Information Officer
ByzFunder is seeking a Chief Information Officer to lead the company through a critical period of enterprise systems modernization and operational transformation.
This role oversees the information systems and technology organization, setting the direction for how platforms, data, and systems support ByzFunder’s growth. The CIO will lead a major platform transition, strengthen operational rigor across technology functions, and ensure modern tools, automation, and AI are applied in ways that improve efficiency without disrupting the business. Success in this role requires the ability to deliver complex change while maintaining system stability, make disciplined decisions about technology investment, and lead through influence, accountability, and execution.
What You’ll Do
- Lead complex system and platform transitions with minimal operational disruption
- Establish an AI-first approach, using automation and modern tooling to improve efficiency and scale
- Improve how technology work is planned, prioritized, and delivered across the organization
- Balance innovation with stability in a regulated or high-risk environment
- Partner with senior leaders to align technology execution with company goals
What we’re looking for
- Senior technology leadership experience (CTO, CIO, SVP, or equivalent)
- Demonstrated success leading large-scale platform or system transitions without business disruption
- Experience overseeing AI-driven initiatives or large-scale automation efforts
- Strong operational and project leadership capabilities
- Experience modernizing technology organizations in regulated or high-risk environments
- Background scaling technology organizations through leverage rather than headcount growth
- Experience inheriting and improving existing teams and systems
- Fintech, lending, or financial services experience
