Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Operations Data Analyst to support a large utility/energy sector organization. This role involves leading complex data analysis initiatives that drive operational efficiency and business decision-making. The ideal candidate can work independently, manage time-sensitive deliverables, and partner effectively with stakeholders across all levels.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead complex data analysis projects from intake through final presentation with minimal supervision
- Design and execute data analyses aligned with business objectives
- Analyze large datasets and deliver clear, concise, and actionable insights
- Create ad hoc reports, trend analyses, and performance metrics
- Manage complex data extracts and ensure data accuracy and integrity
- Develop and maintain automated reporting and data delivery processes
- Perform data cleansing, validation, and manipulation
- Present findings and recommendations to cross-functional stakeholders
- Recommend enhancements to data sources, databases, and analytical processes
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 4 years of related data or operations analysis experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (complex formulas, automation, reporting)
- Experience working with SAP and Salesforce
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience supporting utility or energy sector operations
- Advanced SQL skills (Oracle or Business Objects)
- Experience with UNIX shell scripting (csh, awk, sed, vi)
- Knowledge of Base SAS
- Programming experience (Visual Basic, Perl, or C)
- Project management experience
