The opportunity

A well-funded, early-stage technology company is hiring a founding full-stack engineer to help build and scale a consumer-facing, AI-driven product. This is a high-ownership role suited to an engineer who wants to ship quickly, influence technical direction, and work closely with the founding team from an early stage.

The successful candidate will own features end-to-end, spanning backend systems, data pipelines, and frontend UX, and will play a meaningful role in shaping both the product and engineering foundations.

Candidate profile

Experience

3+ years of professional experience as a full-stack engineer

Experience building and shipping consumer-facing products used by real customers

Prior experience at an early-stage startup (Seed to Series B)

Founder or co-founder experience is a strong plus

Experience in real estate technology, CRMs, workflow tools, or large-scale data scraping is highly relevant

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related field

Graduated from a top 30 Computer Science program (US or Canada)

Strong signal candidates may include those who attended a prestigious high school in India and completed undergraduate studies in the US

Technical skills

Strong proficiency with React

Hands-on experience building, deploying, and operating systems on AWS

Comfortable owning backend APIs, data pipelines, and frontend UX end-to-end

Actively using AI development tools in daily work and demonstrating clear productivity gains

Responsibilities

Architect and ship end-to-end features for a revenue-generating, consumer-facing product

Build backend systems, APIs, and data pipelines supporting core workflows

Design and implement fast, intuitive frontend experiences tied to customer outcomes

Own core product areas and lead initiatives from concept to deployment

Collaborate closely with founders on product direction and technical foundations

Maintain a clean, scalable codebase while operating at startup speed

Additional signals

Creative personal website or portfolio

Active GitHub with consistent personal or side projects

Clear bias toward shipping and ownership

Compensation

Base salary $150,000 to $200,000
